This is my first review on this blog, so go easy on me.
I have quite a few power banks, as I’m sure most of you do, but this one really tickled my fancy. When I see an item advertised in the way this one was, I instantly think that the item is going to be cheap in terms of quality and service.
I mulled it over for a few weeks to determine whether I needed another power bank and continued to look at the pros and cons of it. It’s charged by both micro-USB and small solar panels on one side of the device.
Now, I’m all for an item that can charge itself, but going back to the whole “cheap” thought I had previously, I didn’t think it would work that well.
It wasn’t long before the item came up in a lightning deal, and I just had to see if I could be proved wrong… and I was. The item came and I’ve been using it on a daily basis since. Yes, it still needs to be charged via USB sometimes, due to the fact that I live in the UK and sun is a very rare thing to come by here. But on days where the sun has made an appearance, it’s actually charged pretty well.
My real test for this will come during the summer months, when I plan to not charge the power bank at all, and see if I can replenish my device battery just by the sun. Perhaps I’ll write a post about it.
I’d highly suggest getting this item for any of you that live in sunny areas or tend to travel a lot. This could end being your life-saver.
To purchase the item, you can get it from Amazon HERE.
Thanks for reading this review. If you do purchase it, I’d love to hear your opinion.
