I have no idea why I’m insistent on making this sound like a business affair but that’s the inspiration for the title as I’ve left a massive gap between posts.
Had a hell of a weekend as the Wells Comedy Festival and it has made me want to write about a few things. Firstly had the absolute pleasure of spending the weekend with friends & family, which always makes things extra special and adds another level of enjoyment to anything. We attended the Wells Comedy Festival and honestly I’ve never belly laughed so much in my life.
In a TLDR; we went to see James Acaster, Alan Davies, Lou Saunders and Rich Hall.
We managed to get second-row tickets to Lou Saunders, Alan Davies and Rich Hall and honestly the fear of being singled out was so much greater that I think it heightened the experience and made everything so much more funny. It turned out that being in the second row would inevitably end up in being picked on and two members of the group were questioned by Rich Hall and ended up having an 11 minute song written about them.
I started writing this bit by saying that laughing must do some good as I felt great at the beginning of writing this post but had to postpone it as I fell somewhat ill. Looks like something is going around and a comedy festival was the perfect place to catch it. Balls!
That said, other than a sore throat and fatigue, I am just powering through the best I can. With that in mind; going to cut it short there and follow up in the not too distant future.
