If you read my blog, or have at least visited before, you’ll notice a change of decor. The reason for this is that I’ve migrated away from using the Ghost Platform.
Initially, when I went to set up my blog I was torn between using open-source WordPress and Ghost. Although WordPress has a lot of functionality, I wasn’t sure if I’d need it all. Ghost was simple, more code-focused and seemed to do what I wanted.
I used Ghost for a year and got on well with it. It was only due to my host provider dropping support that I made the leap from Ghost back to WordPress. I’ve migrated the posts and will look into making it a bit more “beautiful” whilst still keeping it minimalistic. I suppose the upsides to WordPress are that it allows for plugins and comments. Both are a win in my books.
This post is short and sweet, but more in-depth posts are planned.
