Hello World! As we welcome 2024, it’s a great opportunity to focus on our aspirations whilst ensuring we balance ambition with well-being. Remember, it’s crucial to take breaks and maintain a positive mindset amidst challenges.
This year, I’m aiming to reconnect with my love for reading. Engaging with the imaginative worlds in books has always been a joy for me. Initially, I considered setting a goal of one book per week, but to avoid undue stress, I’ve decided on a more relaxed pace of one book per month. This not only allows me to enjoy each book thoroughly but also offers the flexibility to read more if time permits, potentially leading to interesting topics to share on this blog.
Fitness is another key area I’m focusing on, especially after navigating various health issues. Regularly attending rotational and Pilates classes has been beneficial, and I plan to intensify this routine to twice a week. The aim is not just weight loss but overall physical improvement and well-being.
Travel aspirations are also on my agenda, though they might be more modest this year due to financial considerations, with a wedding and relocation plans in the pipeline. Exploring local destinations and enjoying smaller trips can be equally fulfilling, and I look forward to discovering new experiences closer to home.
As I conclude this first post of 2024, I had hoped to delve into more topics, but I’m satisfied with this start. I continue to find writing in a notepad an effective way to organise my thoughts, so you can anticipate more frequent and diverse posts in the future.
